Registration for the 2018 TCG National Conference: St. Louis (as well as scholarship & subsidy applications) will open in early February. Please find our basic rates below, in addition to all of the registration policies and available discounts, scholarships, and subsidies for this year’s Conference. We look forward to supporting you and your colleagues in attending the National Conference in the most cost-effective way possible. Remember that once a registration is processed, it may not be cancelled or reversed without incurring a fee (see Cancellations below), and discounts cannot be applied once a registration has been processed.

This year will break from TCG tradition in an effort to make the Conference experience more flexible for different budgets. Our registration process will offer you the opportunity to opt into each available Conference meal at an additional charge. Use your registration form to select the meals in which you would like to participate while on site. All meals will take place at the Hyatt Regency at the Arch, St. Louis. Please note that all coffee breaks will be included with your registration fee.

2018 CONFERENCE REGISTRATION POLICIES
Cancellation Deadlines: Registrations may be refunded for any registration canceled prior to May 11th, 2018, but they will incur a $100 cancellation fee. Registration fees will not be refunded after May 11th, 2018. Registrations cannot be accepted after June 11th, 2018.
Substitutions: Should you find that you cannot attend once you've registered, and would like to replace yourself with another individual, please email us. In most instances, such substitutions can be accommodated.
FOR INDIVIDUALS:
Individual Artists
If you are not currently an Individual Member of TCG, you must join in order to qualify for subsidies and the Member registration rate. You will receive a discounted membership rate ($10 off) if you choose to join in conjunction with registering for the Conference. Individual Members are eligible to apply for a registration subsidy to attend the Conference. Subsidies consist of a 50% discount on conference fees (but do not cover travel expenses).

Students
Undergraduate and postgraduate students must join TCG as an Individual Member to qualify for Subsidies and the Member registration rate. Eligible students must be full-time college or graduate students. You will receive a discounted membership rate ($25 off) if you choose to join in order to attend the Conference. High school students attending the Conference must register as a part of a student group, such as a Teen Council at a TCG Member theatre. High school students attending in groups will receive an additional Registration discount.
Educators or education staff at TCG Member Theatres who would like to bring a high school student group to the Conference, please email us.
TCG hosts a Family-Friendly Conference: parents and adults are permitted to bring one child, ages 11-17, to most plenary sessions free of charge (some are closed due to content; check the session listing on Conference 2.0 for information on closed content). The registered parent/adult must accompany their minor, and sign them in at the on-site Registration desk. This applies to plenary (full-Conference) sessions only.
FOR NON-MEMBER ORGANIZATIONS:
If you represent a Theatre of Color (TOC) that is not currently a member of TCG, but is interested in attending the Conference, please email Elena Chang, TCG’s associate director of equity, diversity, and inclusion for more information.
If you represent a theatre that is not a Member of TCG (and does not identify as a TOC), you will need to become a Member in order to attend the Conference at the Member rate. You will receive a discount off your first year's dues, plus member benefits at no cost for the remainder of the fiscal year. Please visit this form to find out if you are eligible.
If you represent an organization or business that is not a Member or Affiliate of TCG and you would like to attend the Conference at the Member rate, you may qualify for a special Conference Combo & Membership offer. St. Louis Area Non-TCG Member Theatres: If you are on the staff of a St. Louis area theatre that is NOT yet eligible to become a TCG Member Theatre and would like to attend the TCG Conference, you may qualify for a local discount. Please visit this form to find out if you are eligible.
FOR TCG MEMBER ORGANIZATIONS:
Staff of TCG Member Theatres are eligible for the discounted Conference registration rate ($440 Early Bird; $590 Regular). The following scholarship and discount opportunities are also available to Member Theatres. If your organization is not a member of TCG, please see the previous section for more information.
TCG Member Theatre Scholarships: A limited number of scholarships, which consist of a fully waived Conference registration fee (but do not cover travel expenses) are available to full-time staff members of TCG Member Theatres. There are three deadlines for scholarships (Friday, March 23rd; Friday, April 27th; and Friday, May 11th). We will assess applications after each of these deadlines. TCG Member Theatre Scholarships for Theatres of Color: A limited number of scholarships, which consist of a fully waived Conference registration fee (but do not cover travel expenses) are available specifically for staff members of theatres of color. To be eligible, your theatre must be a TCG Member Theatre. There are three deadlines for scholarships (Friday, March 23rd; Friday, April 27th; and Friday, May 11th). TCG Member Theatres in Budget Group 1 & 2: For TCG Member Theatres in Budget Group 1 ($499,000 and under) and Budget Group 2 ($500,000 to $999,999), TCG will honor the Early Bird rate for the entire registration period. To take advantage of this offer after the Early Bird deadline (April 13th), email us to request the appropriate registration code.
Register 2, Get 1 Under 35 HALF OFF: For every TWO staff members (at a TCG Member Theatre) registered at the full registration rate (either Early Bird or Regular), register an additional full-time staff member under the age of 35 for half off. This offer is limited to one per TCG Member Theatre and cannot be used in combination with other discounts. To take advantage of this discount, first register two staff members and then email us with the names of the registered staff members to receive the 50% code for the third staff member.
